Linux Users of Northern Finland (Poslix)

Most of the existing Linux organizations are located in Southern Finland. As there are plenty of potential Linux users in the North, as well as many schools, universities and and commercial activities around IT, it should be brought out also in here.

Our group aims to activate the Linux users and the Linux-user wannabes in Northern Finland by organazing Installfests, courses and other happenings. We also try to spread the word on Linux as a viable alternative amongst the decision- and policymakers.
